    Why we do what we do

    More people are doing more online, from different devices in different places. Meanwhile, we face a new wave of threats from more advanced and sophisticated cyber criminals.

    By 2030, society will
    be using over 50 billion vulnerable devices.

    But we're out to change that. To make sure that those devices are safe, and people can have confidence while connected. We believe everyone has the right to work, learn and play online, with the confidence that they’re protected.

    Our pioneering technology is the foundation of everything we do, and we’ll continue to develop pioneering tech, systems and approaches that will adapt as the online world evolves.
    Today, we work with network operators and hardware manufacturers around the globe, adding our AI-powered cybersecurity technology to routers to protect families and businesses. BlackDice technology protects anything with an IP address, and in the future, we’ll look to scale into other industries, keeping people and devices safe while they’re connected.

    Data

    Having our technology on routers globally has allowed us to create an unrivalled set of data. This “data lake” helps inform us about the threats and challenges to online lives everywhere, from bedrooms to boardrooms, from Manchester to Mumbai. We enrich this data with other external data sets, then use augmented intelligence – machine learning and deep learning – to create a full picture of network activity. This data becomes a self-learning network, where AI informs network operators about incoming threats and performance issues, and helps them better understand their subscribers.
